February was a busy and fun-filled month in the Willow Class. We enjoyed celebrating St. Brigid’s Day, where the children learned about St. Brigid and took part in creative activities inspired by the day. The class worked together to make beautiful decorations and enjoyed exploring some of the traditions associated with this special celebration.
We also had great fun celebrating Valentine’s Day. The classroom was filled with kindness as the children made lovely cards and crafts for the people who are special to them. It was wonderful to see everyone sharing smiles and spreading a little extra happiness.
As always, we kept very active throughout the month. The children particularly enjoyed PE, where they practised their movement skills, played games and worked together as a team.
Our cookery sessions were another highlight. The class loved getting hands-on in the kitchen, measuring ingredients, mixing, and of course tasting the delicious treats they made.
We also spent time in the school garden, where the children enjoyed exploring the outdoors and learning about plants and nature.
It has been a lovely month in the Willow Class, full of activity, learning and fun.
