There is a hydrotherapy pool on campus and each child has access to the pool every week.  The pool itself is warm and very relaxing. There is a hoist to enable less mobile children to utilise this wonderful facility. The shower and hygiene facilities are very good also. A low pupil to staff ratio is hugely important and assistants always enter the pool with the students. Safety and hygiene regulations are followed as a priority. Our pupils get one formal aquatics session each week given by Fidelma and Fiona. The aquatics programme follows a combination of the Halliwick swimming programme and The Irish Water Safety swimming awards and on graduation students are presented with I.W.S.A. Swimming certificates at the various levels achieved.
