February was a busy and enjoyable month in the Hawthorn Class. The children had great fun celebrating St. Brigid’s Day and learning about the traditions associated with the day. They also enjoyed making lovely Valentine’s creations, using a variety of colours and materials to design beautiful artwork.
The class spent time outdoors in the garden, exploring nature and taking part in gardening activities. These sessions are always a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn through hands-on experiences.
Parachute games were another highlight of the month. The children had great fun working together, developing their movement skills and enjoying lots of laughter during these active sessions.
We also enjoyed attending Mass, which is always a special time for the class.
In the classroom, the children explored story boards, helping them to engage with stories in a visual and interactive way. They loved following the sequences and taking part in the storytelling.
It has been a lovely month in the Hawthorn Class, filled with creativity, activity and learning.
