The Elm Class - February
February may have been a short month, but it was a busy and exciting one for everyone in Elm!
We began the month by celebrating St. Brigid’s Day. Charlotte had great fun trying on the traditional Biddy hats and learning about the celebrations connected to the day.
One of the highlights of the month was our class trip to Dingle Aquarium. The children had a wonderful time exploring and seeing all the different animals. Darragh especially enjoyed watching the butterflies and penguins.
Back in the classroom, we got creative with some Valentine’s Day art. Layla was particularly fascinated by our marble painting technique and loved seeing the colourful patterns it created.
Our sensory activities were also a big hit this month. Dawid had great fun exploring the bubble sensory table and enjoyed all the different textures and bubbles.
We also had a very special celebration as Caleb turned 10! He celebrated his birthday with all of his friends, making it a lovely day for everyone.
Scott kept busy showing off his fantastic colouring skills, completing a colouring page using our colour of the month.
Well done to everyone in Elm for another wonderful and activity-filled month!
