February was a busy and exciting month for Arbutus Class as we celebrated St Brigid’s Day, spring, Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year.
We enjoyed a colourful visit from the Kilgobnet School Biddies — William loved the music, dressing up, and proudly sharing the class St Brigid’s cloak and his handmade Brídeog doll.
For Valentine’s Day, we focused on friendship and kindness. Dylan played Valentine-themed ICT games, Liam made a heart-shaped pizza, and Odhran and Arthur created lovely cards for their families and friends in Oak and Holly Class.
We also celebrated Chinese New Year with art, music, food tasting, and a fun game of “Pin the Tail on the Horse,” learning about traditions from around the world.
