End of Year School Tours 2025
As we wrap up another fantastic school year, we’re delighted to share some highlights from the wonderful school tours our classes enjoyed this June. From wildlife encounters to scenic boat rides and special treats, it’s been a memorable end to the term!
Juniper, Ash & Chestnut Classes
These three classes had a lovely time at Fota Wildlife Park, where they were amazed by the wide variety of animals. From giraffes to monkeys to seeing a red panda in the tree, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The excitement didn’t end there—they topped off their adventure with a well-earned visit to McDonald’s, which was a big hit with everyone!
Oak Class
Oak took to the water in Killarney, enjoying a relaxing Water Bus Tour on the beautiful lakes. Afterwards, they had a jaunting car ride through the Killarney National Park. The day was rounded off with a delicious lunch at the International Hotel, making it a truly special day.
Holly & Arbutus Classes
These two classes also enjoyed the Killarney Water Bus, soaking up the beauty and learning a little along the way. After their tour, they enjoyed a McDonald’s lunch, followed by ice cream at Deenagh Lodge.
Hawthorn Class
Hawthorn had a lovely final trip of the year, spending time at Kennedy’s Pet Farm. The children loved meeting the animals and learning about farm life. Afterwards, they headed into Killarney for a walk, taking in the sights and sounds of the busy town. The atmosphere was full of holiday cheer, making it a perfect way to finish the year.
Cherry Class
Cherry class had a fantastic time at the Aquadome in Tralee. Between wave pools, water slides and plenty of laughter, it was a fun-filled day from start to finish. To top it all off, they enjoyed a delicious McDonald’s lunch on the way home—well deserved after all that swimming!
Alder Class
To celebrate the end of school year, Alder Class enjoyed a wonderful day out at Muckross. They soaked up the fresh air and beauty of the area. Everyone enjoyed time together outside the classroom. They finished off the trip with a delicious lunch in the Muckross restaurant.
Hazel Class
Everyone in the Hazel Class had a blast around the Lakes of Killarney on the water bus tour - a popular school tour choice this year! From singing songs, watching the waves and having a laugh together, the Hazel class had a very memorable tour.
Elm Class
Elm Class had a wonderful day at Pony Tales in Faha, where they went horse riding and experienced life at the stables. The students loved getting to know the horses and learning about how to care for them—an unforgettable day full of smiles and fun!
Rowan & Willow Class
The Rowan and Willow class both explored Dingle Aquarium for their school tours. They discovered fascinating sea creatures, watched the penguins swim and even got up close to some of the marine life.
